New Utlity Truck Makes Progress FEBRUARY 05 - The new Utlity Truck (451) has been painted and is now in the process of the mounting of the necessary equipment. The FD expects delivery sometime later this month. A final inspection is planned before delivery so RFD members can go over the truck to ensure all is done properly. RFD Members Inspect New Truck DECEMBER 09 - Members of the RFD went to Odessey Specialty Vehicles in Wharton, N.J. on Friday afternoon to inspect the new utility truck that was ordered earlier this year. The truck is built on a 2012 Ford F-550 FWD 4-door chassis. Firefighter Kerry Conklin Receives "Volunteer of the Year" Award NOVEMBER 13 - At the November Borough Council meeting, Ramsey Firefighter Kerry Conklin was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year" award from the Mayor & Council. Mutual Aid to Allendale Garage Fire JULY 25 - At 2:00 A.M. on Monday 7/25 the Ramsey Fire Dept was called to Allendale for a fully involved garage fire on Franklin Turnpike. Tower Ladder 441 with Lt Jon Krehel (OIC) responded with Chief Jim Dougherty (430), Deputy Chief Randy Sterbinsky (450) and Captain Lou Warnet (460).
