KME has received the chassis from Ford into their Pa. facilities to begin the process of building the mini pumper. The FWD F550 is powered by a Power Stroke diesel engine and automatic Transmission. When completed, the truck will be outfitted with a 1000 GPM Darley pump and 250 gallon water tank. The body shall have the same look as the squad with everything fully enclosed including the pump panel. Delivery of the truck should be mid summer.
