Ramsey PD arrived and found the siding of the house near the chimney on fire. Officers quickly extinguished the flames, preventing the fire from spreading. RFD units arrived shortly after, overhauled the area, and inspected the chimney to confirm the fire was fully extinguished. Due to the quick actions of the homeowner and first-arriving police officers, damage was kept to a minimum.
