Tree dedicated to RFD member Artie Keys
Ex-Chief Louis Warnet Jr., April 26
This afternoon along with the Ramsey Seniors, the RFD, Mayor and Council gathered in front of the Senior Center to dedicate a red oak tree in honor of RFD member Artie Keys, who recently passed away. With his wife Marie and members of the family front and center, a ceremony was held by the Seniors of Ramsey. At the base of the tree, a plaque was placed along with flowers around the tree. Monday Drill Night
Ex-Chief Louis Warnet Jr., April 18
Last Monday night, RFD members took advantage of the nice weather and participated in a drill practicing ground ladder placement, various rope evolutions, such as tying proper knots, raising assorted tools up to the roof and inspecting the personal bailout equipment. Mayor and Council Recognizes the 125th Anniversary of the RFD

Last night Mayor Dierdre Dillon and the Council presented the Ramsey Fire Dept. with a Proclamation recognizing the 125th anniversary of the Fire Dept. Since 1899, the RFD has been and still is an all volunteer department serving the citizens, businesses and visitors with fire protection.
