Lanning Jr. Crews worked on several scenarios and an overall great night of training. We are lucky to have these types of environments to train on, as this is the closest to a real time scene.

This morning at 7:18 am, Ramsey FD, Rescue and EMS were dispatched in front of Brother’s Smokehouse on Route 17 North for a single car MVA with the vehicle reportedly on fire

Upon arrival of Ramsey PD and FD, a working vehicle fire was confirmed. Engines 431 and 433 arrived on scene and crews began fire suppression. Rescue 423 assisted with overhaul and cleanup, alongside Ramsey OEM. No injuries were reported and crews returned to service after about an hour.... (Full Story & Photos)

At approximately 2:14 pm this afternoon, Ramsey PD, FD, Rescue and EMS were dispatched to Mulberry Road for an MVC with reported entrapment

Upon arrival, it was then recognized that this was a single vehicle incident into an embankment with one party still trapped inside. Ramsey Rescue arrived on scene and began setting up low-angle rope systems to free the party. Bergen County HazMat was requested to the scene along with Ramsey OEM.
