| GPS units were recently purchased with the help of a 1,000.00 donation from the Ramsey Womens Club. 8 units were purchased and placed on 3 engines, as well as both ladder trucks. The remaining 3 were placed in the 3 chiefs cars. The units will primarily be used for mutual aid responses into surrounding towns. This will allow units to respond without the constant request for directions on the fire radios, thereby reducing radio traffic.
The Ramsey Fire Department greatly appreciates this generous donation and the money was put to a vitally important use, enhancing the operation of the FD. Thank you to the Womens Club. |
