At the November Borough Council meeting, Ramsey Firefighter Kerry Conklin was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year" award from the Mayor & Council. Kerry joined the FD several years ago and has been very active with the Public Education team, who works many hours bringing Fire Prevention and safety education to groups of people of all ages during the year. This year she took an active role in scheduling the many school visits during Fire Prevention Week. Kerry also serves as the Departments Treasurer when she isn't baking or making something or tending to the needs of 3 young children and spending time with her husband John.

Congratulations from all the members of the RFD! We are all very proud of you! A very well deserved award. Keep up the good work.
