Members of the RFD traveled out to Wyoming, Minnesota last week to inspect the progress of the new tower at the Rosenbauer factory. The vehicle was thoroughly gone over to be sure specifications were met before the body is manufactured and mounted. A meeting was held with factory personnel to be sure that all expectations were met during the final phase of construction. It is expected that a final inspection will take place in late April at the Rosenbauer facility before shipping to the local dealer. The new tower will be replacing the 1983 Mack/Backer Aerialscope that still continues to serve the Borough.
