With dangerous heat expected across Bergen County, cooling centers are available for anyone who needs relief from the extreme temperatures

If you do not have access to air conditioning or your home becomes too hot, please take advantage of these cooling centers.
💧 Heat Safety Tips:
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. • Limit strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day. • Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing. • Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle. • Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and those with chronic medical conditions. • Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and call 911 immediately if someone is experiencing a medical emergency.
