Arriving PD units confirmed heavy smoke inside the store, prompting an Engine and Tower Ladder from Mahwah to respond. Crews investigated and found the cause to be a burnt transformer in a roof top HVAC unit. The business was vented and returned to normal operations, all FD units returned. Thank you to Mahwah Fire Rescue Co1 and Mahwah Fire Company 2 for the assistance!
